• About the Chamonix Area •
Chamonix is considered by many to be the resort with the best skiing in Europe. Located only 60 minutes drive from Geneva airport, itself only a 90 minute flight from London, is ideal for its convenience and proximity.
Surrounded by mountains on all sides, including the tallest in Europe, it has facilities both for the beginner skier as well as for the expert.
While here, you are encouraged to take advantage of the area's natural beauty, be it on foot, on ski, or on sledge. We find that for many, engaging in exciting and challenging outdoor pursuits is a fast and effective way of disengaging the mind from its routine and focussing into much healthier and more rewarding pursuits.

From Geneva airport, exit the parking lot and follow the green signs
indicating "France / Geneva Centre". Continue following the green signs
to France for about a kilometre during which you will pass under an overpass.
Keep in the left hand lane. After a total of 1.5 km you will come to a t-junction
where you will turn left towards "France". Immediately direct yourself towards
the right lane and after 100m turn right onto the ramp that points to the
highway and France.
You will now drive 9.8 km and pass the border and customs. Exiting customs,
follow the A40 to Chamonix: after 1 km you will enter the A40 that takes you
all the way to Chamonix.
As you approach Chamonix, you will go through a series of roundabouts. Drive
straight across the first three roundabouts following signs for the centre
of Chamonix ("Centre-Ville"). At the fourth roundabout (just after you cross
a railway line on the road), turn right (direction Martigny and Argentière).
Continue along this road for approximately 2km. Look out for a turning on your left signposted “Plaines des Praz”. (If you reach La Cremerie du Moulin restaurant or Mandrillon Sports on your right, you have gone about 50m too far. If you reach a roundabout, you have gone about 200m too far).Turn left here and then after about 50m, take the first turning on your left ("Clos des Psalliotes"). Your chalet is straight ahead of you.
